Real Wedding : Sara + Andrew at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee, WI!

There is no greater pleasure than photographing the weddings of friends and family. I was so excited to work with Sara and Andrew on their amazing wedding day! Sara and I go all the way back to elementary school where we were the stars of the school play together! We played soccer together for many years while we were young and continued to the varsity team in high school. It was so fun to be able to reconnect with her and to see her wonderful family again! It was also so great to meet Andrew and his family as well! Everyone was so warm and welcoming!

The wedding was amazing and a pleasure to photograph! The ceremony and reception took place at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee WI. The bride and groom traveled to Wisconsin from Washington DC for their wedding day and since the couple are both huge baseball fans there were several elements of the day dedicated to their love of the game and to their home teams! The couple share a fun rivalry between the Milwaukee Brewers (Sara's home team) and the St. Louis Cardinals (Andrew's home team). They found fun and unique ways to incorporate elements of their favorite sport into their big day! Instead of a traditional guest book, the guests signed their names to two Louisville Slugger bats. Andrew had a life sized cut out of the Cardinal's player Albert Pujols standing up as one of his groomsmen in the ceremony and Sara brought the Brewers Racing Sausages as her special guests to the reception! =) It was SO much fun!
